The official logo of BALATASAN CHESS CLUB (BCC) is characterized by simplicity of design and limited use of colors - green, black and white. The green, circular border resembles the green Earth, which BCC wishes to maintain and even to make it greener. Black and white defines chess, dark and light pieces. The white knight, the most symbolic chess piece, is contrasted with the black background. The knight faces the checkered green and white of a typical chess board. January 2, 2010 marks the birth of BCC.
